Lola Nichole is an interdisciplinary artist born in Las Vegas, NV, and based in Pasadena, CA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gonzaga University in May of 2025.

Her artistic practice is deeply influenced by the loss of her brother, Jesse, and mother, Amanda. Through her work, Lola explores themes of grief, memory, and the persistence of the human spirit. Using a range of mixed media, including animation, digital design, screen printing, and sculptural work, she creates a space where both the living and the dead can coexist.

Her art serves as a tribute to loved ones lost, and to explore the spiritual and emotional connections that transcend life and death.

Her creative process is ritualistic, with inspiration drawn from forgotten artists, old films, and intimate thoughts with memory and nostalgia.

Each piece becomes a vessel for not only her personal grief but also for the collective memory of those who have passed. Lola's work invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences of loss and to recognize the connections we all share, even with those no longer physically present.

Through her art, she aims to offer solace, reflection, and understanding to anyone who has experienced loss, and to show that death is life, a forever running cycle.
